Apple announced last night that Steve Jobs, co-founder and former CEO at Apple, died at the age of 56 after losing his long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The people of New York are overwhelmed by the news and are paying tribute to Jobs by posting farewell messages on the Apple stores. As the Apple statement says, “The world has lost an amazing human being”.
