Yesterday marked the launch of the second in a series of films by Pantone®, “Behind the Scenes: Creating Colors.” Shot by director Greg Mitnick and produced by Ami Kealoha, the film talks about the inspirational role color plays in the worlds of fashion and interior design and includes special guest appearances by Jonathan Adler, Deborah Lloyd, creative director of Kate Spade and Steve Cardino, Vice President, Fashion Director Macy’s Home Store. The film follows “The Pantone® Plus Series,” that has collected approximately 60,000 views on YouTube to date.

“Behind the Scenes: Creating Colors” is part of a larger, integrated campaign Base created for Pantone. A print campaign shot by Max Farago, styling Lester Garcia, and set design by Confetti System is currently running worldwide. A brochure and email campaign round out the menu.

The campaign reflects our on-going effort to expand upon the iconic attributes inherent to the Pantone brand to create a recognizable visual language that goes beyond the chip.
