José Collection is a family of storage furniture pieces from designer and architect Mauricio Arruda. Its identity is 100% Brazilian. It was inspired by the classic food, fruit and vegetable markets from the urban centers of Brazil. The structures are made of wood, and are light and simple in design. The plastic boxes are loose, useful for both home storage and as transportable containers. The pieces are eco-friendly, produced with materials less harmful to the environment, minimizing wasted energy and materials. The House of Cards table is another creation of the designer. The idea for this piece came from the classic “house of cards” that everyone at one time or another has tried to build. The table top is made of glass and the cards with steel plates, lazer-cut and welded. Both the Jose Collection and the House of Cards table has a sense of humor and personality. They are simple in form and function, remarkable traits of Mauricio Arruda’s work.

A Mesa Baralho é outra criação do designer.
