Architect Marcio Kogan—one of my favorites—is responsible for designing the new store of Decameron Design, in São Paulo. In addition to its own line of furniture and objects, Decameron represents imported design brands, like Droog. With an innovative, sustainable appeal, the store is the first in Brazil to be built out of shipping containers. A huge, open shed with polycarbonate doors that let in tons of sunlight complements the six brightly colored containers, stacked in three sets of two. Marcio is not known for using a lot of color; this is undoubtedly the most pop project from the architect yet. I love it!

If you are ever in São Paulo, it’s a store not to miss. Decameron Design is located at Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, 2136.

O arquiteto Marcio Kogan – um dos meus predilétos – é o responsável pelo projeto da nova loja da Decameron, que além da linha própria, vende objetos e móveis de design importado, como os da marca Droog. Com um apelo sustentável e inovador, a loja é a primeira do país a ser projetada com containers de navios, são 6, empilhados e de cores fluorescentes. A loja também é constituida por um galpão enorme com portas de policarbonato, que deixam a luz entrar. O Marcio não é famoso pelo uso de muitas cores, sem dúvida esse é o projeto mais pop do arquiteto até hoje, adorei!
